Frequently asked questions

A highway at night with a banner and flag promoting Free Alberta Land.

Does your name refer to "free land" or land in a "free Alberta"?

Both. The new "Republic of Alberta", if and when that happens, will be finally free of dreadful restrictive politics, and will own millions of acres of land once held by its old government and previously known as "Provincial Crown" land. This land will now be available to its people and the corporate entities that are ready to accept it. Our company is one of the first on that list. We are ready. We will accumulate land quickly and quietly and our hundreds of shareholders will own it jointly. Be ready with us and join us for as little as $1,000.00CAD or $700.00USD per person. The larger our team, the more power we have.

Where does the company find land?

Our shareholders, along with real estate professionals are constantly watching for "screaming good deals" to add to our portfolio. Once you join our team, we would appreciate if you would also be our eyes and ears and watch for good deals for our company to acquire. Our buying methods, secrets and strategies are available exclusively to our shareholders.

Where is "Free" land in Alberta?

At the moment most land parcels that are free or nearly free are in remote parts of northern Alberta, or in the beautiful western rolling foothills, some with spectacular views. Much of it is heavily treed and inappropriate for agricultural work or development at the moment, but hey, maybe we can sell the trees? Or host a hunting camp? Or a fishing lodge? Or a back country retreat? Pan for gold? A campsite? Hiking trails? The possibilities seem endless for the entrepreneurial mind. (Our vacant land is also available for our shareholders to use year-round for camping or hiking or hunting at no cost.)

And as a new country the Republic of Alberta vacant land (currently known as provincial crown land) will become available to its people and will very likely appreciate rapidly. Crown land is all around Alberta and much of it is adjacent to private land, so some of it can be developed immediately.

Will I actually own land?

YES! You own the company (well, your share of the company). There are many partners and that's what keeps your share price low. Your company also has an established credit rating, so your credit details remain your own and are not requested by us. So as your company accumulates Alberta land it will automatically make YOU a legal owner of Alberta land. No one can ever take that privilege away from you.

How much land is required and at what value?

According to the land rules and regulations for land ownership, the amount of land and the value of land are both insignificant. The rules are dictated only by one statement, which is simply:

"Do you own any real estate in Alberta?"

No one cares how much. You have equal rights if you own one acre or millions of acres. Your company will acquire more and more land through time at no further cost to you.

All of the land can't be free?

True.  We often find land that requires financing, but as a group it is easy to get financing and each of us do not take a lot of risk.

Land deals that we decide to pass on can be purchased as joint ventures through our group networking, often without much personal credit.

How much does it cost in total? All in?

$1,000.00 for a single share, (per vote), only ONCE. Minimum purchase is one share; maximum purchase is 5000 shares. There is no tax on the purchase of Alberta Corporate Shares. There are no hidden fees, no annual dues, no land transfer costs, no legal fees. No tax. Everything necessary is paid by the corporation.

If you're all set up, why get more shareholders?

Good question. The larger a corporation gets, the more status it gets. The more shareholders involved, the more land deals seem to show up. By having a Board of Directors and various committees to evaluate land offers, we can grow more rapidly. You can be involved as much or as little as you like, all future dividends and future earnings would be split between the aggregate number of shareholders, as their interests appear. This is your ground-floor opportunity, and it only comes by one time.

How do I profit from the land?

Don't be side-tracked. That is not why we do this at the moment. We have not sold any land, and our current shareholders don't intend to. Once you are an owner, you will learn the secrets, and your vote will be heard if you still feel that way. Our current mission is to acquire land, not to sell it. Transfers and trades and growth of corporate assets will be "rolled back" into more land, all of which you or your heirs will own a share and hold the legal document to its exclusive use. There may be no distributable financial gain for many years, but steady growth is the goal.

YOUR BENEFIT COMES TODAY, AND RIGHT NOW, by virtue of being a shareholder of an Alberta Corporation that is continually seeking to acquire more land. As share values rise, we recommend that you borrow against your shares if you must, but you probably won't sell them once you see their true value.

You might also benefit greatly by being a part of Alberta prior to its separation from Canada and possible "grandfathered rights" that come with proof of an Alberta address, an Alberta corporation, and Alberta land ownership.

What happens if Alberta becomes a new country?

Wonderful. You can honestly say that you owned a piece of Alberta when it was Canada and claim all rights that are attached to that status.

What happens if Alberta does not separate from Canada?

Wonderful. You can grow with the company or request and immediately redeem your share(s) to receive all of your money back. But at least you were prepared during these troubled political times.

Can I make payments on my share purchase?

YES. Send us as little as $100 CAD to get started. make additional monthly payments or send the balance next month. All interest free. We will forward your ownership documents to you when your share payment is complete. Leave us your details and ask any questions by email at: wetreatyouright@gmail.com

the fine print

To Be Clear:

This project is not designed to be an investment proposal in the form of some get-rich-quick scheme.

There is never a promise of long-term financial gain or profit, we simply buy and hold land.

The primary purpose of this corporation is to offer a legal platform for its shareholders to weather the political storm during a possible secession of Alberta from Canada.

Remember that 100% of shares purchased are refundable if Alberta is still a Canadian province in five years.

On the other hand, if Alberta becomes a new nation and our real estate thrives, future profits can and will be divided among all shareholders as taxable dividends or gains, or alternatively, they can be reinvested as generational wealth.
